I was born towards the tail end of the baby boom, so I guess I'm in the age group. But even with my generation (I came of age as Reagan became president), there was a hard, reactionary shift to the right in politics that I abhor. I saw this even in a San Francisco public high school and it has only gotten worse in succeeding generations, until we get to some very recent generations. So it makes a lot of sense for me to choose mates who are approximately my age.
